Clubfeet #3

About a year ago I discovered Clubfeet and became a little obsessed with scoping out their tracks. Well they're back on my radar and still pretty amazing.

Three boys. Melbourne. Disco. Super.

Club Feet #2

Keep it together beneath these heavy skies...

I just got my hands on the Club Feet track that I thought was called Pull it Together, but is actually called Keep it Together. The one in the European MTV add. It really is a catchy tune, with a sweet little guitar riff and what I believe has become an Aussie trademark-rounded vowels and clear newsreader like pronunciation (i.e. Cut Copy, Presets, Sparkadia). This sound is a far cry from the comin' and goin' yobbo speak that we Aussies are farkin' famous for. And I like it.

Club Feet

Four boys from Melbourne putting some catchy electro pop together. Recently heard a nice one called Bright Lights Big City, but am yet to get my hands on it. Until then Last Words should give you a pretty good idea about what Club Feet are all about. They reckon they'll be working on a remix of The Teenagers soon which should be nice.

Although yet to be a household name, or put out a record, another Club Feet track is featured on the add for the Sony Ericson Fanwalk in Europe right now. Apparently this is where 100 music loving, competition winning people engage in a "pilgrimage" from London to the MTV EMA awards in London. Sounds fun, I spose. The track is called Pull it Together and from this little snippet it sounds bloody awesome.
