Mumford & Sons

"It was not your fault but mine, and it was your heart on the line. I really fucked it up this time, didn't I my dear."

The London folk scene is out of control. I've already expressed my love for Johnny Flynn and of course Laura Marling. Out of the same city comes Mumford & Sons and their absolutely delicious song Little Lion Man.

I first noticed these guys on Sydney blog Only An Earthling and it only took exactly 31 seconds for this track to sweep me away. This is when Marcus Mumford's vocals jump in and join the guitar, double bass, piano, bass drum and banjo and the party really gets started. Sure, its a morose sort of party filled with more painful emotion than most artists can fit in a whole album. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
