It appears that Lily Allen has gone from singing about her pot smoking, masturbating brother and bad break ups to some more meaningful subject matter. She has posted a sample of a track said to be off her soon to be released sophomore album and its playful title Guess Who Batman does little to suggest the fact that most radio stations will be unable to play it, and those who do will have to give a very strong language warning! The chorus of "Fuck you, fuck you very very much" is ironically sung in soft sweet tones and is apparently aimed at the closed minded right winged politicians.
Allen's new found political activism appears to extend beyond her music with a recent meeting with the mayor of London to discuss ways in which knife crimes can be reduced. Maybe this marks the end of her partying and boozing days? Probably not.
